Hi there! As I stated before, I’m trying to be less shy in front of the camera. So here you have another post with me as a model, I hope you like the photos! 🙂 Those who know me know that I prefer summer rather than winter, despite Taiwan’s summer can be very hot, humid and sweaty. Now it’s October and the weather is changing very fast, hot one day and rainy for a whole week. One of these summerish days, feeling this good weather might not last long, I decided to wear a jumpsuit. It’s easy to style and a very comfortable option!
This blue and white stripped jumpsuit is from Zara, it’s loose but tight at the waist so, along with the vertical stripes, favors the silhouette. The back is what I love the most of it! I combined it with brown high heeled sandals from H&M, very easy to wear thanks to the wide heel.
As for the complements, the white sunglasses are from Forever 21, big and perfect for summer looks. I got the pearl earrings on my first trip to Philippines, in a small island near Cebu. And the Casio watch is a gift.
I want to thank my hubby for taking these photos! We saw this graffiti wall near Boven and we both thought it would be a great contrast with the stripes of the jumpsuit. I really like walking around that area, there is always something new to discover!
Yaya is a Taiwanese girl who works as a stylist in United States. We met in Taipei, when she was visiting her family. We decided to do a photo shooting together and she is an excellent model! Her style is very urban and loud, so we thought it would be a great contrast with the Songshan Cultural Park.
For the first set of photos, she was wearing a black leather jacket, pink cropped top, furry white high waisted shorts, sheer socks with flowers and wooden platform studded black shoes. Her complements were a bracelet and mirror sunglasses.
If you want to know more about Yaya’s styling work, you can check her Instagram.
I’m a bit shy and I’m usually the one behind the camera, but, little by little, I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone by putting myself in front of it. So, it’s possible that from now on you will see more photos of me. I hope you like them! 🙂
On this occasion, I was wearing a denim shirt from New Look, a black tulle skirt from Bliss Tulle and black high heel sandals from Zara. The complements were big Prada sunglasses, pearl earrings and a lovely bowtie from Betolli.
The tulle skirt is the model Ashley, with a double lay of tulle. It makes me feel like a princess, so I paired it with a denim shirt to relax a bit the look. I was looking for a long time before I found this denim shirt: simple, versatile, but not too “manly”. About the shoes, I love heels, and these black ones combine almost with everything, tall but still comfortable to wear.
As for the complements, the sunglasses were a gift from my hubby for my birthday. They are not very discrete, even a bit baroque, but I think they suit my personality very well. I got the earrings on my first trip to Philippines, in a small island near Cebu. And the bowtie is the model Celosia from Betolli, a small company from Latvia. The Celosia bowtie is white with a print of butterflies in different colours, delicate and original at the same time. I really like it! I think I’m going to wear it in many outfits.
Andrea is the responsible of the amazing blog THE B1RD and a girl with a wonderful style. We have met several times in Taipei and one day we decided to do a photo shooting.
That day, she was wearing a black and white striped T-shirt from Uniqlo, short jeans from Zara, and blue Chanel espadrilles. Her complements were big sunglasses, a dark leather belt, a lot of bracelets and rings from different markets, and earrings from Zebra 斑馬人, a Taiwanese brand.
